17th International Conference on Violence, Abuse & Trauma, San Diego

The Taylor and Francis Group, the Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma (IVAT), the Family Violence & Sexual Assault Institute, and I are pleased to invite you to one of two luncheons for the Journal of Child Sexual Abuse, Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment, and Trauma, and the Journal of Child & Adolescent Trauma, during the Chadwick Conference on Child and Family Maltreatment in San Diego, CA. The first lunch is on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, or the second one is Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 11:30 am - 1 :00 pm.  Both of these are at the Trellis’ restaurant at the Town & Country Hotel where the conference is.  Please choose one and let me know by sending back this email with the information noted below.

These meetings enable us to share many exciting changes and plans for the journals and publications, such as our new addition of the Journal of Family Violence that we are now editing as well. It also enables us to share information about IVAT/FVSAI and our events and conferences, and the National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence Across the Lifespan (NPEIV) that has taken off in a big way.

These meetings also enable you to give us feedback on our journals, books, trainings, and conferences so that we can continue to improve our services and procedures. It also gives you an opportunity to brainstorm ideas for articles, collaborative projects, special issues, etc.  Therefore, I hope you can come to one of the luncheons. If you also want to set a separate meeting with me during this conference, just let me know so I can block the time - I will be there periodically.
