Convicts to Criminalistics: Past, Present and Future

On behalf of the 2012 Organising Committee, we are delighted to invite you to participate in the 21st International Symposium on the Forensic Sciences of the Australian and New Zealand Forensic Science Society (ANZFSS), to be held in Hobart from 23 to 27 September 2012 at The Hotel Grand Chancellor.
We are now calling for abstract submissions for the scientific and technical program in both oral presentation and poster form. We are also calling for individuals who wish to present half or full day workshops immediately before and after the symposium. Abstract and workshop submissions will be assessed after the cut off date of 24 February 2012 and those who are successful will be notified of their inclusion in the program in due course. You can access the relevant application forms on the website.
Registration for delegates is also now open and financial incentives are offered for those who register before 13 July 2012. Registration forms can be downloaded and sent in hard copy or electronically. A wide range of accommodation is available in and around the Hobart CBD, all within easy walking distance of the symposium venue. The registration form lists a number of accommodation options catering for all budgets.
Of course ANZFSS symposiums are renowned for their exciting social programs and 2012 will be no different. We have planned yet another great schedule of extra curricular events you won’t want to miss!
Gerard Dutton (Chairman)
